yup its true. there were 3,848 zombies in the Fremont District of Seattle this last Friday, July 3, 2009. It was part of a Guiness World Record attempt to get the most zombies in one place. So, while i was running evo’s employee gallery opening night, zombies were running all over town.
A local film school student composed this documentary that exposes a rare perspective on the graffiti scene in Tacoma, featuring evo’s Graphic Designer Pubs. Touches on a lot of aspects of this art form that a lot of people probably don’t think about. Its pretty inspiring to hear these guys talk about how free, unrestricted and believe it or not, LEGAL this art form can be.
Its THAT time of year again… when the world as I know it converges on Whistler for a week long celebration of snowsports, music arts and culture…and debauchery of course.
Its crazy how easy it is to wake up early when you are in a place like this I swear every morning we’ve been up by 7a! Aside from adjusting to the time warping from time zones, there is so much relaxing to do, so many things I want to see.
Man its certainly difficult, torturous even to leave our coastal nest that we’ve grown accustomed to life in Bukit. Im really only going off of Bryce’s contagious rants and what I’ve read in books but I am pretty excited to drop in on Indonesia’s artistic and cultural center.
