My first official day of vacation started at 6:00am!!!!!!! Well actually, since I still haven’t figured out the 1hr time difference I actually had set my alarm for 5:00am Costa Rica time…boo. Well, It wasn’t hard falling back asleep, so I did. 6:00am hit and I was in my little bikini and crawled into my board shorts and found a tank top to suffice as a rashgaurd and we were out the door.

I slept in!!! or I thought I had slept in…. the time still has me ef’d up, meh! I thought it was 9am but really I got up at 8am Costa Rica time, which is 7am back home. Boo. Oh well, I’m in paradise! Andrew got up to surf 2hrs before high tide, and as much as I wanted to join him I really just wanted to take advantage of a lazy morning and to recharge so the next 8 days I’d be able to get up w/ the roosters (or stray dogs) for some surfing.

So i just got back from my 11 day excursion… it was the perfect breather in between what has been probably the busiest summer i’ve ever had, bleyauck, and my favorite season, Winter. Im going to put the Eurotrip posts on hold but will pick back up when i get this C.R. stuff up.

It all started at 9:50pm in Seattle where my oh so kind father dropped me off at the Seatac airport. I was pretty antsy to get out of Seattle but still a little bit freaked out about being away from work for almost 2 weeks. My new intern Jennae started last Monday, she will be able to hold down fort for the most part but it’s a pretty crucial time and a lot of big shit is going on right now that needs to get done yesterday. The last week before taking off was pretty much written off to work, not much sleep, no socializing to speak of, so hopefully that paid off.
